The small cottege was custom built on a two acre lot located on the Bohicket River to function as a guest house. This cottage includes many cutting edge construction practices and materials that give this home a “green” home rating. Some of the materials selected include; complete American Cherry hardwood floors, 2×6 wall framing for thicker more efficiant insulation, Zip system sheathing, Renni tankless waterheater, Infinity controlled heating and air, fireplace using recycled materials from a 1790′s warehouse and large overhangs to help prevent the summer sunlight from heating up the home.
