Glossy Ibis, Kiawah Island
This 3300 sf home located off of Glossy Ibis on Kiawah Island had been flooded due to a small leak that ended up sending over 30,000 gallons of water from the second floor throughout the home. Crawford Contracting was notified immediately and reacted to salvage the few items that had not been damaged. Once the water recovery team had removed the water and dehumidified the home demolition and reconstruction began.
Renovation included totally removing all the flooring and sheet rock in the entire home and rebuilding back to new conditions. Some of the details included installing hand scraped hardwood flooring, complete re-design and relocation of the kitchen, addition of a master bedroom and bathroom.
